    Visit to British Museum

    Year 3 had a fabulous day at the British Museum. They visited the Roman and Iron Age Galleries to learn more about the Roman occupation of Britain as part of the history curriculum and produced some marvellous drawings of artefacts.

    Creating Music from Junk!

     Year 3 made instruments at home out of 'junk materials' - it was great to see such imaginative designs and to hear them played in class - well done Year 3!

    Congratulations to our two Year 5 teams who played football against St Mary and St Pancras School. The matches resulted in a draw and a win in very unfavourable weather conditions. Well done everyone!

    Year 2 have been learning about resilience. The badge in this photo reads: 'I am really good at cheering people up' and is just one of many the pupils made, including 'I am very good at swimming because I practise'. A wonderful range and a pleasure to see!

    Baking Bread in Nursery

    In Nursery we have been reading about the little red hen who made some bread.  Today we learned to bake some bread rolls ourselves.  There was lots of mixing and kneading!

    Music Exams

    Good luck to all our pupils sitting music exams - we have 35 exams taking place this week, including singing and piano, violin, recorder, flute, clarinet, saxophone and bassoon and we are very confident that all will do well.

    Florence Nightingale Museum

    Today Year 1 visited this fascinating museum in London.  They had a great time learning about Florence Nightingale, why she went to the Crimean War and how she improved conditions for soldiers and nurses there.

    Viking Day!

    It was Viking Day and Year 4 learnt so many interesting facts and had fun making candles, weaving and writing runes with quills amongst other crafts.

    New Uniform

    Egyptian Dioramas

    Year 2 have made these fabulous dioramas of Ancient Egypt complete with pyramids and the river Nile.  They are on display in our reception area, but you could almost be in Giza!
