This year's TED challenge (Think, Explore, Discover) was on the theme of The Journey. We have many fine examples of different interpretations of The Journey. This one on display in our reception area, is by a Year 2 pupil and shows a journey under the sea in a yellow submarine.
Year 5 are away in Cornwall and having enormous fun exploring the world's largest indoor rainforest at the Eden Project. They have lots of exciting activities including a trust walk, making music in tribes, charcoal rubbings and hunting. And that was just on their first day!
Year 5 visited Greenwich yesterday and had great fun learning about the 'Universe on your Doorstep' and touring the Royal Observatory. The photo shows pupils standing on the Meridian Line from which the location of every place on Earth is measured.
Pupils and staff have arrived in fabulous costumes of all kinds to celebrate World Book Day today. Look at these two Year 4 pupils dressed as the Mad Hatter and the March Hare from Alice in Wonderland.
