The Cavendish School

Admissions Overview

** Update during social distancing **

While we usually are delighted to invite you to visit The Cavendish School during a normal school day to see our happy pupils engaged in their lessons and at play, we regret we are currently unable to do so. The school is temporarily closed to all but the children of key workers, and while our pupils are still engaged in a lively educational programme, most learning is taking place remotely. In line with Government advice, most staff are working from home, and we are unable to welcome visitors onto our site for tours while this guidance is in place.

We are very much hoping that we will soon be back on site and able to show you round.

In the meantime, if you have any admissions queries about The Cavendish School, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

Thank you.

We encourage you to visit our school and always provide a warm welcome.  Do contact us by telephone or email to arrange a visit and see for yourselves what makes us so special.  We’d love to meet you, show you round and answer any questions you may have about us and our admissions process.

The Cavendish School is non-selective and offers places on a first come, first served basis.  In keeping with the school's family ethos, applications from siblings are given priority where possible.  Some parents register their children as soon as they are born, so to increase your chances of being offered a place, we suggest that you visit sooner rather than later - you can always come again!

For further detail about the admissions processes for either Nursery and Reception or occasional places in Years 1 to 6, please see below.

The Cavendish School is a licensed sponsor for those needing a Tier 4 student visa.  For further information, please see Tier 4 Student Visas or contact the school.
