The Cavendish School

Fees and Bursaries

Please see the table below for our fees.  We believe they represent good value for money and endeavour to keep them as low as possible while investing in excellent teaching, facilities and resources. The Cavendish School enjoys charitable status and all our income is spent on providing your children with an excellent, safe and enjoyable education.

All School outings and lunches are included in the fees. Residential trips are charged as extra.

For 3 and 4-year-olds we currently participate in the Free Early Education 15 Hours Scheme through the London Borough of Camden. Under the scheme, in the academic year 2021/2022, for eligible 3 and 4 year olds, net fees would therefore be as follows:

  • Nursery Mornings Only: £1,965.95
  • Nursery Full Time: £4,165.95
  • Reception: £4,265.95

(Please note that funds are received from Camden during the course of the term and are applied as a credit to the following term's invoice.)

Before joining the school, an Advance Fee is payable.  This is generally equivalent to and credited to the first term’s fees (although an adjustment may be necessary if fees change). Thereafter, fees are invoiced termly, and payment is due no later than the first day of each term.

Note: childcare vouchers from employer schemes can be used towards Early Years fees but not from Year 1 onwards; beyond the age of 5, education does not constitute ‘qualifying childcare’. We continue to be able to accept vouchers towards After School Care and Clubs (but not towards educational visits).

The school has a Bursary Fund from which awards are made at the discretion of the Governors. Our Bursary Policy is available here.
